We have come a long way and the most recent technological breakthroughs have finally allowed us to create pictures of ourselves and then share them with the world! But do we all know what it takes to make a good photograph? What makes or breaks a good snapper?
Desire:
Money can buy the most expensive kit available in the market, but unless one has a passionate desire within to become an expert hand that clicks the button at the right point to capture scenery, a sportsman in motion or a jumping kangaroo those costly devices may be of not very much use.
Angle:
A good snapper will know from which angle to capture a frame with his camera. Where he should position himself to get a clear view of the couple in a marriage ceremony. When you factor in an amplitude or amateurs with their cameras thronging to get a dose of the event this is very important. To capture a good photograph of your baby you have to be quick resourceful and fortunate! The kid will not wait for you to have your settings right.
Experience:
Nothing beats experience, you know! A good shutter-bug got there thru excersise and persistence. Experience tells him what lens to use, the right zoom, whether to use the flash or not and the right shutter speed which may give the best picture.
Customer Approach:
A good photographer is light in his approach to his customers. While he will not hesitate to suggest a better backdrop or a different angle for a better shot, he can respect the customer’s perspectives and input in order to earn name, fame and some referrals from the happy customers. If you're into kinderportretten this is extra hard as children could be the most difficult subjects to snap!
Stay Current :
A good photographer will equip and familiarize himself with the most recent technology in the industry. This will help him to deliver his footage with more clearness, more ease and to stay in front of the competition.
