David DeAngelo’s book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
- being yourself
- differences between the sexes
- dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
David DeAngelo tells guys that you don’t need to be yourself, but you need to be the best version of yourself. It is important that a lot of guys first learn how to be interesting to women, because when they are “just being themselves” they fail at getting women. So, just for a brief monent in time, don’t worry about being true to yourself and learn how to get girls, then once you can do that, make that new you the real you!
What are the distinctions in relation to the gender roles between the sexes?
In the Double Your Dating book, the reader is told that men are totally confused by society and that men and women differ in terms of gender roles. The media with it’s TV shows and movies have brainwashed men in our society. They for some reason think they need to be wussy dudes to get women. That is the start of where the problems begin. Women like men who act like men. I find it interesting that a lot of guys are totally confused and start to act like girls. That’s a factor as to why some men out there cannot get any women, because they themselves act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. Clearly is not the case at all. Having these things is important, because it shows to girls that a man has a high social status. But in order to have higher social value, a guy doesn’t need to have these materialistic things. You can also get girls without being rich or famous, because David takes a great deal of time explaining how to develop these personality qualities as part of your personality!
My conclusion
