Hence, it is one of the most of the popular tourist spots all year round. ‘Crammed’ may be the best word to describe the streets of London, since there are actually a number of tourist attractions per square foot! Visiting London is certainly considered a feast to the eye and the senses, not to mention the gastronomical indulgence that awaits every visitor who dare venture out in it’s bustling lanes and boulevards.

The best way to pore through every nooks and crannies of the city is quite simple – walk along the famous streets of London. That’s right. You don’t need to figure out all the confusing routes, just bring a long a map with you and talk a leisurely stride. You can start right off the River Thames that can offer you some of the world’s most impressive bridges, especially the Tower Bridge that has an opening right in the middle that allows large ships to pass through it. Another magnificent bridge that is worth the visit is the Tower of London that has been a fortress for law offenders a few centuries ago.

You also might want to see the London Bridge, the one mentioned in the nursery rhyme. However, the Millennium is one engineering feat that is certainly a sight to behold. The particular bridge is actually suspended with only a set of steel cables holding it up. It marks three major tourist attractions nearby: the Tate Modern Art Gallery, the Shakespeare’s Globe Theater and the St Paul’s Cathedral.

If you walk towards the Waterloo Bridge, you can view hat is known to be the biggest Ferris wheel on the planet that can offer you the best scenery of the sprawling city of London. Finish off your walk with the Westminster Bridge where you can also see other popular tourist attractions such as the Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and of course the Westminster Abbey.

You might have heard about the song Streets of London that was sang by Roger Whittaker. The song actually invites you to walk along the streets of London and enjoy not the watching the different characters and personalities that walk along your way. Suffice it to say that being on foot will provide you not only the best sights and sounds that you would normally miss if you’ll decide to stay at the comforts of a rented vehicle.

GPS Auto Tracker

Family and Home Life, Hunting and Outdoors, Shopping and Products, Society Issues, Technology and Science, Travel and World

Stop thieves in their tracks with a GPS Auto Tracker

GPS Auto Tracker

You just bought a new automobile.  You saved for it.  Now your only fear is that one day it might get stolen.  You lock the doors nightly.  But what else can you do to protect this new major investment of yours?  You could install a GPS Auto Tracker.

You have heard of GPS devices.  You know that they are wonderful tools for helping you find directions and to get from place to place.   But you didn’t realize that they could be invaluable in protecting your new automobile.

This is how they work.

GPS stands for Global Positioning Systems.  These systems works through computers that run along with orbiting satellites.   Together these computers and satellites can work together to pinpoint exact locations.  But they can also work together to track people and things by using a tracking device.  The GPS system can read radio, cellular and satellite modem technology waves.   Then they turn these waves into data that can be sent to a computer or a tracking device.

Once installed, you can track any destination that your car takes.  Then if your car is stolen all you have to do is turn on your tracking device or your computer and find out where your car is.  The information you will find will be uploaded in real time.  Then all you have to do is tell the police that your car has been stolen, that a GPS auto tracker has been installed and the current location of your automobile.  It can actually be that easy to recover it.

You can also learn about the driving habits of a driver who has been using a car that has an auto tracker.  You can learn such things as the usual speed drove and the travel path taken.  This is beneficial when you have a teenager driver and would like to know that he/she is actually driving in a safe manner.

These auto trackers come in a variety of price ranges and styles such as:

Data loggers:

These are an economical type of auto tracker.  On these types of trackers you can track such information as:  miles driven, addresses of each destinations, time spent at each destination, and even the speed the driver drove.  These are logged in data form and then you are able to retrieve it easily from your computer.

Historical loggers are more expensive but offers more features such as:  no monthly fees for downloading past history and retrieving it, easily removed from the vehicle, generally runs from a battery, will show more points on a travel map making it easier to read.

Auto GPS trackers are also useful if you own a fleet of automobiles, trucks or the like for use in a business.  You know there will be times when a driver is late.  A tracker will help you to find out exactly where the driver is and if there is a problem such as an accident.  The history that the trackers records will also allow you to see if any of your drivers steers off the course they were instructed to take, if they were driving at reckless speeds and even the amount of time they spent in driving.  This is a great way for you to know exactly who are your best and safest drivers.   Plus, you may be able to save on your business insurance by installing these devices.

A consumer should also remember that most automobile insurance carriers will give them a discount if they have an auto tracker installed on any of their current automobiles, especially if there are teenage drivers on the policy, which is always a nice perk.

If the insurance discount isn’t enough of a reason for you to decide to buy an auto tracker, think about these reasons or situations where one may be helpful:

Are you constantly forgetting where you parked your car, especially when you have to park in those big lots or parking garages?  Think how nice it would be to be able trace it with an auto tracker and find it with a help of your cell phone or a small portable tracker.

Do you sometimes wonder where your significant other may go?  You can track him or her easily to see if you are worrying in vain.

Do you fear of getting in an accident and have no way of getting help?  Some GPS auto trackers will allow you to call for help (a subscription may be required).

Finally, do you or your spouse get lost a lot?  All you have to do is call the other one, log into the computer and give the directions needed to find his/her way.

You can buy auto trackers at most electronic stores, auto part stores, and of course on many fine online sites.  Why not check some out today?  They can make your life easier, safer and you can stop thieves.
